Contests & Prizes

Contests
For those of you that attended last year, you know I have contests with some fun prizes...here are the contests this year;

  • Best Cookie (voted on by the attendees)
  • Prettiest Cookie (voted on by the attendees)
  • Prettiest Packaging (voted on by the attendees)
  • Who is the most festively dressed (voted on by the attendees)

Prizes

This year I'm going to do prizes a little differently...this year you can earn "COOKIE DOUGH" (or cookie bucks). I will have the prizes set up silent auction style and you can bid on your favorite prize with your "Cookie Dough". Not only can you earn "Cookie Dough" by winning contests and games, but also for:
  • RSVPING with Recipe BEFORE November 10th
  • RSVPING with Recipe by Thanksgiving
  • Arriving on Time
  • Having your Cookies in Pretty Packaging
  • For being festively dressed

Welcome!

Hi and Welcome to my 2nd Cookie Exchange...I'm so excited this year, last year was such a great time...I so hope you can join us! I made this blog because:

I wanted a place for the rules in case you lost your original invite

I wanted to help you browse for ideas for recipes and/or packaging ideas

So...let's get on with the show, shall we?

  • When: Sunday, December 5th, 2 p.m.
  • Where: My House 2778 W 200 N, Wabash, In 46992
  • Phone: 574-527-0874
  • RSVP: WITH RECIPE by Thanksgiving

RULES

  1. No children or HUSBANDS allowed at the party (they tend to eat up all the hard work asap! LOL)
  2. All cookies must be homemade, no cookies purchased from Wal-Mart (with one exception, if you burn/ruin your batch you MAY purchase Christams cookies from a REAL bakery in order to participate)
  3. You must submit your recipe ahead of time for approval, we don't want any duplicates!
  4. You will be making 6 cookies per attendee and approximately a dozen for taste testing at the party, I will let you know hao many to make after everyone RSVP's.
  5. All 6-pack cookies need to be prepackaged (and I'll be having a contest on the cutest packaging...but a ziploc will do in a pinch!) The dozen or so doesn't need to be packaged, I'll have plates to put those on when you arrive
All cookies should be at least 3" in size...if smaller, make a few extra, we want everyone to get the same "amount".
  6. Make sure your cookies are special for the holiday season, ie. chocolate chip cookies a no-no, but chocolate chips cookies with peppermints a big YES, peanut butter cookies a no-no, but peanut butter kiss cookies a big YES...if you have a question, please feel free to ask.

Can’t make the date, but still want to participate? Drop your cookies off the day before and I’ll exchange them for you.
Come, have fun, know someone that would love to come along? Bring them and their cookies too (just let me know by the RSVP date)!
